The Alabama National Fair is taking time to ensure guests that it has a safety plan in place.
The fair is known as the 11 best days of fall. It is set to return in just a few weeks. Law enforcement is working together to make sure guests and their families are safe as they enjoy the fun.
The Montgomery Police Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and Alabama Law Enforcement Agency are joining forces to protect people at the fair. They want to remind people of a few safety tips ahead of all the excitement. “Parents are going to have to get involved and stay involved with their children. And the reason that policy is there is because we’ve had so many parents that are just dropping their kids off. They’re getting into fights or getting into trouble at the fair, and we’re not going to tolerate that anymore,” said Montgomery County District Attorney Daryl Bailey.
