A kayaker named Adrián Simancas had an extraordinary encounter with a humpback whale off the coast of Chile an Patagonia . While kayaking with his father, Dell, in Bahía El Águila near the San Isidro Lighthouse in the Strait of Magellan last Saturday, Adrián was unexpectedly engulfed by a surfacing humpback whale . The whale held Adrián and his yellow kayak for a few seconds before releasing him unharmed.
