GULF SHORES, Ala. —On March 27, 2024, at approximately 8:40 PM, the Gulf Shores Police Department received a report of shots fired at the 100 block of Gulf Shores Parkway, near the intersection of Highway 59 and East Beach Blvd, and one male victim shot.
The investigation remains open and active as investigators continue speaking to witnesses and reviewing available surveillance cameras and cell phone video. Prior to the 18-year-old male being detained, he attempted to flee the area by gaining entry into more than one passerby's vehicles in the 1900 block of Gulf Shores Parkway. Detectives are asking those victims to please come forward and contact the police department immediately. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police department at 251-968-2431.
One related suspect has been taken into custody, and several suspects were developed for the shooter.
