The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said around 12:02 a.m. Saturday, officers were dispatched to a vehicle that crashed into a building in the 1800 block of Myrtle Avenue, where they found a man fatally shot. The victim is described as a Black man in his 30s, JSO said. The agency does not have suspect information and is learning to know"the circumstances of the incident or the relationships of those involved," a release said.
