Rome Bracy was born in Berkeley, California but was raised in Tucson. He attended Canyon Del Oro high school where he played football and basketball.
Pima County Sheriff's deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the area of West Ajo Highway and South Kinney Road at around 4:20 p.m., according to a news release from the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
Upon arrival, deputies found 56-year-old Martin Bloom with a gunshot wound, the news release said. Bloom was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The suspect, 77-year-old Robert Ryan, had left the area before deputies arrived, but was located shortly after, the news release said.—————————————————————
