Wells got up from his locker stall, then headed to a back room with Rodon.
There’s enough resemblance that the oldest of Rodon’s three children, four-year-old daughter Willow, was positive that Wells was her father while she was home and watching the catcher do a television interview after a recent Yankees’ game. “I have not seen the video,” Boone said before adding, “I don’t confuse them because to me Austin Wells is the missing Jonas brother!”
Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas were on the field at Yankee Stadium before a Yankees game earlier this season, but Wells was still in Double-A at the time.
