As he inspected the exterior of a convenience store as part of his job June 6, a man approached the employee challenging him and yelling. After telling the irate man to leave five times, the employee video-tapped him on his phone. The irate man slapped the phone to the ground yelling “unwanted surveillance” before leaving.
A man accosted a Speedway employee 1:15 p.m. June 6 outside the store as he was conducting a visual inspection. The man began yelling at him and challenging him without provocation. The employee told him to leave five times, then began videotaping him with his phone before the man slapped the phone from his hand yelling “unwanted surveillance” then leaving. Another employee also videotaped the altercation from inside the store.
He said he recently purchased the vehicle and did not bother with obtaining a temporary tag. The officer also found that he was driving without a license because his had been cancelled for some reason. The man was cited for both infractions.An Auburn woman, 23, drove to the police station 9:50 p.m. June 2 to report someone hit her car and damaged it while she was at the Greenville Inn. The driver’s side door was damaged. There were no witnesses and no video of it.
