A Chagrin Falls man’s luck ran out at 5:45 a.m. May 19 while driving home from a casino, where he won thousands of dollars.
After receiving a report of a vehicle traveling all over the road at 5:45 a.m. May 19, an officer stopped the Chagrin Falls driver, 62, who was talking to his wife on his phone.He appeared to be intoxicated and refused to take a field sobriety test. He also refused to take a blood-alcohol test.He also wanted the officer to talk to his wife.Called to the scene of a disturbance at 10:55 p.m. May 23, police arrested a Bainbridge Township man, 22, and charged him with assault.
Police are investigating the theft of a landscape trailer, reported at 7:50 a.m. May 24 when it was discovered missing.Security camera footage identified a truck and a possible suspect.The trailer and its contents were recovered in Cleveland. Charges are pending the investigation.
