In just hours, school staff and volunteers filled the gymnasium.
While Indian Lake Schools are closed for the day, the high school opened its doors to those affected by the tornado or those without power who need a safe place to spend the day.
People who are affected and have no access to food can also come to the school for a warm meal. The United Way of Logan County is collecting monetary donations for victims through aIndian Lake Adventures is offering restrooms and hot showers to victims, first responders and volunteers aiding in cleanup efforts. Those with animals can also bring them to the on-site dog park.
