Crime and Public Safety |The fire damaged laundry operations and medical areas at the shelter, located at 901 Ames Ave., HSSV said in a statement. No employees, volunteers or animals were injured.“We are incredibly grateful for the quick response from the Milpitas Fire Department Station 4 and the dedication of our staff and volunteers who ensured the safety of all animals and people on-site,” HSSV President Kurt Krukenberg said.
