The famous, illuminated night parade is celebrating its 75th diamond jubilee this year, and more than 750,000 spectators are expected to line the city streets to see the action.
– The Fiesta Flambeau Parade Association announced actor Danilo Carrera as grand marshal and Shelly Lares as the honorary grand marshal for the 2023 illuminated night parade.Lares, also known as “Little Miss Dynamite,” was born in San Antonio and has been part of the Tejano music scene for nearly 40 years. She has been nominated for and won several categories for the Tejano Music Awards, Pura Vida Awards, Cyber Awards, My Tejano Awards and many others.
