The United War Veterans Council named Linnington as the Grand Marshal to mark the 20th anniversary of the start of the War in Iraq. "1,500 vehicles in my convoy, about 5,000 troops in the brigade I had the privilege of leading," Linnington said. He is also the CEO of Wounded Warrior Project which helps veterans get critical resources to heal physically and emotionally.
