Some of the top high school basketball players in the country gathered at Houston ISD’s Delmar Fieldhouse on Monday evening for the McDonald’s All-American Games Powerade Jam Fest, which featured games of knockout, 3-point shootouts and a dunk contest.
On the boys side, it was a celebratory night for the Duke basketball program as future Blue Devils Jared McCain and Sean Stewart won the 3-point shootout and dunk contest, respectively. The highly anticipated dunk contest was judged by former Cy-Fair stars and current WNBA players Nneka and Chiney Ogwumike, Houston native rapper Tobe Nwigwe, basketball influencer Bree Green, Houston radio personality Kiotti Brown, former AND1 Mixtape star Grayson “The Professor” Scott Boucher, and the Ronald McDonald House Charities judge Kane Hutson Jr., a 12-year-old boy who has been battling brain cancer for several years.
