Don’t expect Martha Stewart to take care of you.
published this week, the lifestyle mogul revealed some insight into her current dating life — and it doesn’t include taking care of any men.“I think they really want a woman who will take care of them, so I’m still not quite in the position where I can take care of a man full-time because I work too much.”
She also divulged that sometimes, dating takes a backseat because she is so focused on her work life.“If I analyze my life, I think the work has taken precedence over the romance,” she spilled. She continued, “I have a hard time making room for both and it’s not the highest priority that I have a boyfriend, but it would be nice!”Stewart married publisher Andrew Stewart in 1961, and they divorced nearly 30 years later, in 1990., she shared more about the divorce and how much it affected her at the time.
“Getting divorced was a terrible thing for me, because we were the first to divorce in my family,” she recalled. “And that we haven’t spoken since the divorce is even more painful. But I’m very strong, and I’m very motivated to get on with life.”
