An oversight agency released video of the deadly shooting of a Chicago man who was allegedly pulled over by police for not wearing his seatbelt.
The bodycam footage was released on Tuesday by the Civilian Office of Police Accountability showing the moments that led up to Dexter Reed 's death.
Reed was pulled over by Chicago police on March 21 for not wearing his seatbelt, according to police.In the video, an officer approaches Reed's vehicle and repeatedly demands for him to roll the window down after the window is raised.She then shouts repeatedly, "unlock the doors now." Reed's sister, Porsha Banks, spoke to the media after the video was released, questioning why multiple guns were pointed at her brother.
