Five officers pulled over a vehicle and gave verbal commands to a man inside, according to COPA. The officers, who were positioned on both sides of the car, then exchanged gunfire with the man. One officer sustained a gunshot wound to the wrist and was hospitalized in good condition. The four other officers were also taken to local hospitals for observation, according to police. COPA said that officers’ bodycam footage and third-party video captured the shooting. The footage and all other materials will be posted on the organization’s website within 60 days.
