The family of a woman who was struck in the head by a metal part of the Top Thrill Dragster at Cedar Point has settled a lawsuit with the amusement park.
"She truly appreciates all the public’s support and prayers and Cedar Fair’s cooperation and open communication with her family and their counsel. While terms of the settlement are confidential, the parties were able to come to a fair and equitable agreement that satisfies both parties," the statement read.On Aug.
At the time, her family provided a statement saying she was “fighting for her life” as a result of her injuries.
