It's here! The 'Lion King' duet we've all been dreaming about.
Kim WillisThe superstar has shared Disney’s teaser clip for her wildly anticipated duet with Donald Glover on Elton John’s beloved “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” ahead of the live-action remake of “The Lion King.” The TV spot went viral when it leaked last week, before Disney shut the clip down. The force of Beyhive is fierce: Beyoncé’s share on YouTube is outpacing Disney’s original post, 190K to 143K.
The Jon Favreau-directed update of the 1994 classic animated film features Beyoncé as the voice of the lioness Nala, and Glover portrays as the grown Simba, her childhood friend. James Earl Jones resumes his role as Mufasa from the original film, with Seth Rogen , Keegan-Michael Key , Billy Eichner , John Oliver and Chiwetel Ejiofor joining the cast.
The new movie hits theaters on July 19, weeks after the original film celebrates its 25th anniversary.
