Beyonce shares LionKing teaser featuring 'Can You Feel the Love Tonight' with Donald Glover
Bey and Glover -- who will play Nala and Simba, respectively -- make for a dynamic combination behind the mic, exuding soothing vocals to the legendary ballad throughout the 45-second teaser.
In the clip, Mufasa can be heard narrating the clip. "Look at the stars, the great kings look down on us from those stars. And so will I," he tells Simba. John’s “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” took home the Academy Award for best original song in 1995, and also nabbed the Grammy for best male pop vocal performance.
Other actors in the upcoming film include John Oliver, Eric André and James Earl Jones, who reprises his role as Mufasa.
