BART suffers delays Friday morning; green line service temporarily paused
BART suspended transbay service Friday morning due to “emergency repairs,” the agency said, while giving no estimated time for reopening.
As of 5:21 we recommend seeking alternate transportation if you need to go across the Bay. We need to temporarily suspend transbay service due to emergency track repairs in downtown Oakland. We will keep you updated as work progresses.At 5:21 a.m., the agency said it recommends “seeking alternate transportation if you need to go across the bay.” The red, yellow, blue and green train-service lines each cross the San Francisco Bay.
The red line and green line were shut down as of 5:40 a.m. with no estimated time of reopening given.
