WASHINGTON — More than 115,000 child activity centers sold at Walmart have been recalled after nearly 40 children suffered injuries. The jumpers were sold exclusively at Walmart, in stores nationwide and online, from Nov. 2020 through Oct. 2023 for around $70.
The Indiana-based manufacturer said it's received 141 reports of the straps detaching or breaking, which included 38 minor injuries involving bumps, bruises and scratches. The recalled activity centers were sold in blue and pink and only include model numbers WA105FZW and WA105GML. The model number can be found on a label underneath the activity centers. Dorel Juvenile Group is recalling two models of its Cosco Jump, Spin & Play Activity Centers because the straps can break or come off.Parents or caregivers with one of the recalled activity centers should immediately stop using it and contact Dorel for a free replacement.
