Corporal Jose Mendez with APD said that at around 9:25 p.m., officers got a shoot/stab hotshot call to the 2500 block of Huntwick Dr. near E Oltorf St. and Pleasant Valley Rd.Officers arrived at the scene and found a Hispanic male in his 30s with "obvious trauma to his body" sitting inside a vehicle.
The Austin Fire Department and Austin Travis County EMS performed life-saving measures, but the victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 9:32 p.m. Austin Police do not have a suspect in custody and do not have description at this time, the investigation is ongoing. Police believe that this is an isolated incident and that there is no threat to the public
