A man died due to a medical issue after being arrested Wednesday at the Anchorage Correctional Complex, according to Anchorage Police.
ANCHORAGE, Alaska - as 38-year-old Ross Greenley — into custody after he was seen vandalizing the Alaska Backpackers Inn building on Eagle Street and nearby parked vehicles.
Officers arrested Greenley after he ran into the woods and took him to be booked at the jail for Criminal Mischief in the third degree.Officers and medics began performing CPR and lifesaving measures on Greenley, including administering Narcan, until he was ultimately declared dead, according to police.The cause of death, APD says, will be determined by the Medical Examiner.
