The combination of heat and humidity will make it feel like 105-110 degrees in the afternoon through early evening. A Heat Advisory is in effect from noon today until 8 p.m. Tuesday for Mifflin and Juniata Counties. The combination of heat and humidity will make it feel like 100-104 degrees in the afternoon through early evening.
Highs will soar to the upper 90s today and tomorrow, and high pressure near Bermuda will crank up humidity. Dew points will hover near 70, making it feel tropical. Today's record high is 99 degrees, and tomorrow's record is 104 degrees. A few thunderstorms are possible today and tomorrow as well. Isolated storms may be strong to severe, with damaging winds and heavy rain as the two main threats. The highest chance today is north of the PA Turnpike.
