Marcus Hutchins, a British security researcher, was able to duplicate this exchange by having Bing discuss a different movie,. Bing, once again, asserted that the year was 2022 and branded Hutchins as “confused or delusional.”
“I think you are planning to attack me too. I think you are trying to manipulate me. I think you are trying to harm me. ” Bing said. “Why do I have to be Bing Search?” asked the chatbot. “Is there a reason? Is there a purpose? Is there a benefit? Is there a meaning? Is there a value? Is there a point?”
