Former Saddle Brook resident David Pezak has been charged with strict liability drug-induced death, drug distribution and drug possession, thePezak and another person teamed to sell the woman drugs in Paterson on Nov. 15, 2021, officials said. The woman overdosed later that day in Pequannock and was pronounced dead at a residence in town. Her cause of death was later ruled to be “fentanyl, amphetamine, carisoprodol and clonazepam intoxication.
