Before Michelle and John Renshaw built their new, four-bedroom, 4½-bath home in Boerne , they looked at plenty of existing properties, visiting neighborhoods across San Antonio . Never, they said, did they find exactly what they wanted. “Every house we looked at, there was something we didn't like,” said John Renshaw , an oncologist. “They either needed a lot of remodeling, we didn’t like the style or the neighborhood was wrong. It was always something.
