BIPOC influencers share 11 brands they love to work with, from Airbnb to Nominal
Brand deals make up the majority of income for many content creators across the US.Insider asked creators to share their favorite brands to work with, why, and how much they made.
While some brands have diversity, equity, and inclusion guidelines and intentionally recruit diverse talent, creators of color can still have bad experiences working with them on campaigns or not be paid equitably for their work. Recently, several Black TikTokers told Insider that theywith major brands, in part because they felt these companies didn't value their content enough.

Fashion and lifestyle creators Rahan Alemi and Bee Alemi said they frequently work with Muslim-owned jewelry brand Nominal because they're paid well for their work and the brand incorporates Middle Eastern culture in its designs. They also like supporting small businesses that give back.
