A person is dead, and another person was critically injured in a shooting in the Franklinton area of Columbus.
COLUMBUS, Ohio —
Columbus police are at the Southpark apartment complex. A detective at the scene said one person died in the shooting. Another was critically injured. A crowd was gathered outside the apartment complex. Many were shaken up following the incident, and some neighbors were heard crying. "I was in the house. I was listening to music, and I heard shots, at first I thought, well, it's not the Fourth of July, and I heard a woman scream, and that's what made me come outside," a neighbor said.
