Syed Hamadah succeeds Datuk Seri Amrin Awaluddin, who completed his two-year term of service as the pilgrim fund’s managing director and CEO on May 5.
KUALA LUMPUR: Lembaga Tabung Haji has appointed Syed Hamadah Syed Othman as managing director and chief executive officer effective May 6.
Syed Hamadah is the former CEO of Kumpulan Wang Persaraan Diperbadankan . He succeeds Datuk Seri Amrin Awaluddin who completed his two-year term of service as the pilgrim fund’s managing director and CEO on May 5. "I am confident that with the extensive skills and experience possessed by Syed Hamadah, he will be able to continue efforts to strengthen TH in terms of governance and operations, to a more outstanding level in the future," chairman Tan Sri Azman Mokhtar said in a statement.
Syed Hamadah has over 25 years of experience as an expert in negotiations involving multinational and local organisations on the subjects of pensions, financing, pension funds, mergers and acquisitions.
