Actor Mack Chapman, also known as Grizz Chapman, passed away at the age of 48 after a long-standing kidney disease and severe hypertension led to multiple health issues, including kidney transplants. He starred in the sitcom 30 Rock as Grizz Griswold, a bodyguard and member of Tracy Jordan's entourage.

Chapman appeared on the sitcom 30 Rock throughout all seven seasons of the show. He portrayed Grizz Griswold, a bodyguard and member of Tracy Jordan’s entourage. Kevin Brown, meanwhile, portrayed the other bodyguard, Dot Com. No official cause of death or additional details have been released.
However, Chapman had long-standing kidney issues. He reportedly received a kidney transplant in July 2010. He also suffered from severe hypertension and underwent dialysis treatments before the transplant. Following that experience, he became a spokesperson for the National Kidney Foundation.
Apart from his role in 30 Rock, the seven-foot-tall actor also appeared in several films and television shows. Chapman starred in the 2014 film The Cobbler alongside Adam Sandler and Steve Buscemi. His other credits include Money Monster, Life of the Party, Blue Bloods, The Blacklist, and Common Sense Police, among others. More details about Chapman’s death, including the cause, have not yet been announced.
