The 62-year-old took to Instagram to share a series of photos with her lookalike daughter Lyla Elichaoff , 22, as they cooled off in a friend's pool.
Trinny looked effortlessly chic in a bandeau top and drawstring bottoms, while Lyla opted for a sleek black two-piece. In one caption, Trinny wrote: 'Went to see a friend and felt like we were in the countryside, but it was London… We just had the best time.
' The sunny outing came alongside a more personal revelation: Trinny hinted she had recently joined a dating app. She posted a glamorous photo of herself in a black tailored suit, asking followers what first image they would choose for a profile. This follows her split from Charles Saatchi, the art collector and former husband of Nigella Lawson. The couple ended their decade-long relationship in 2023, with friends citing their 21-year age gap as a factor.
Shortly after the split, Charles was seen enjoying lunch with model Lady Martha Sitwell, who confirmed they met for a meal but described Charles as 'very clever, very funny'. Trinny has been open about the emotional challenges of the breakup. In an interview with podcaster Elizabeth Day, she admitted: 'I have been in a relationship for ten years… I know I have been in love with the person I was in a relationship with, and I had good years.
But I also know that I got to a stage where I knew I was not happy in it. And that's a very tough thing because a relationship becomes familiar.
' The fashion star also reflected on her personal health journey. After welcoming Lyla with ex-husband Johnny Elichaoff, who died in 2021 after a long battle with addiction, Trinny underwent five more rounds of IVF in an attempt to have another child, but she never got pregnant. In October 2023, she revealed that she believes 16 rounds of IVF triggered early menopause.
She told The Shift podcast that she felt her 'mojo had gone' and was offered antidepressants, but later learned from Dr. Erika Schwartz that IVF may have shortened her menstrual cycle. However, leading experts insist there is no evidence that fertility treatment causes early menopause. Despite the ups and downs, Trinny continues to embrace life with optimism. Her recent Instagram posts show her enjoying quality time with her daughter and exploring new possibilities in love.
