The Chef Challenge is a culinary cook-off that serves a greater purpose. FOX10 News anchor Lenise Ligon emceed the sold-out event at the Mobile Convention Center.The goal is to help end hunger on the Gulf Coast.
The People’s Choice winner was the Salvation Army for its barbecue ribs and crawfish and shrimp etouffee. Best entree went to Mary’s Southern Cooking for its brisket, yams and greens. If you couldn’t make it to the event, you can still donate food, money or your time.
