A 15-year-old boy told investigators Kevin Six secretly set up a camera to record him taking a shower.
CLEVELAND, Ohio - A 41-year-old Akron man was arrested in Florida last week after an alleged incident involving a minor on a cruise ship . Kevin Six is charged with one felony count of digital voyeurism against a child younger than 16 years of age, court records show.
According to the Broward County Sheriff’s Office, Six secretly set his cell phone up to record a 15-year-old boy while Six “knew he was about to disrobe to take a shower in the restroom.” The 15-year-old said he and Six, who is described as a “friend” of the alleged victim in the affidavit, were sharing a room on the cruise ship.The teen told investigators he was getting ready to take a shower on April 2 and asked Six if he needed to use the restroom before he showered.When the teen then went in to take a shower, “he noticed the defendant’s backpack and when he looked for a second time, he noticed the defendant’s cell phone camera sticking out of his backpack in the direction of the shower.”“The video depicts the defendant setting up the cell phone camera in the direction of the shower, where he knew was about to disrobe and take a shower,” the affidavit states.
