A Lake County Grand Jury indicted a man accused of recording a young boy using the restroom at the Great Lakes Mall.
LAKE COUNTY , Ohio - A Lake County Grand Jury indicted a man accused of recording a young boy using the restroom at the Great Lakes Mall . Joshua Yanowitz , of Beachwood, was indicted on two counts of pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor or impaired person and three counts of voyeurism.
Bodycam footage shows Mentor Police Officer Gavin McLean swiftly confiscate Yanowitz’s phone to prevent him from deleting any evidence.“We had a call that you were standing inside the bathroom, with your camera open, and following young men into the bathroom and recording them,” said Officer McLean. “Is that true?”
Yanowitz admitted, “probably.”
“This is a good reminder of the importance of properly supervising young children when they use public restrooms,” said Mentor police.
