A Michigan lawmaker running for U.S. Senate is dropping out of the race, leaving three Democratic front-runners to compete in the primary next year. State Rep. Joe Tate announced his decision Friday. He told The Associated Press on Thursday that he is looking into running for reelection to the state House.
