The suspect in a two-vehicle crash that killed a 40-year-old man in 2024 has been sentenced to 20 years in prison for reckless murder.

Jacqueline Stinger pleaded guilty to the incident, which involved 40-year-old DeLorenzo Ringstaff and an unidentified driver who Stinger hit head-on near the West Fairview Avenue area on August 1 of that year.
Authorities said while the driver of the other vehicle involved was uninjured, Ringstaff was struck and taken to an area hospital where he died just a few days later. According to police who responded to the scene of the incident, Stinger was not in her vehicle when they arrived.
