unveils the new Fall Winter 2021 collection and, exclusively for Vogue, recruits singer-songwriter Arlissa, the star of the music performance in the show, to talk about the collection.
«The thing I love the most about Etro’s style is how bohemian and eclectic it all is; it’s the way it mixes the colors, the prints and the patterns which is a celebration of joy. I love the way Veronica Etro celebrates femininity. And also, it is a sustainable brand, which is so important, given what we do to the world every single day, it’s such a beautiful thing to incorporate this consciousness into our style and fashion» says Arlissa.
The collection’s prints were inspired by the geometric patterns of Russian ballet’s costumes, mixed with the embroidery of Nureyev’s costumes which Gimmo Etro, the brand’s founder, has been collecting for over 30 years. The wallpaper and paisley motifs, alongside the animal print patterns, call to mind the world of Jimi Hendrix.
