Union Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting and Fisheries Dr. L. Murugan today visited fishing harbours at Tiruvottiyur Kuppam and Kasimedu in Chennai. At Tiruvottiyur Kuppam, the Minister interacted with State and Central Government officials on the status of the fishing harbour project. The project is taken up by Fisheries and Aquaculture Infrastructure Development Fund implemented by the Ministry of Fisheries.
