The Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai has issued orders for compiling a list of private hospitals, their oxygen suppliers and the types of cylinders available for refilling. As per the SOPs prepared under the guidance of Additional Municipal Commissioner P Velrasu, hospitals will have to register their oxygen demand at least 24 hours in advance and inform the ward control rooms if the suppliers fail to provide the same within 16 hours.
