Aoife O'Connell, 21, from Ballintemple passed away after she was hit by a car in Utrecht in the early hours of Sunday morning, around 4.30am.The driver of the vehicle fled the scene but later handed himself into police.
They told the Irish Independent: "It was an accident where the driver didn't stop, he left the place of the accident. A 37-year-old man from nearby town of Zeist reported himself to police later."
