You could be set to save money on your insurance as a 'price walking' ban comes into effect today in Ireland.

The new rules put in place by the Central Bank of Ireland have come into effect today, the 1st of July.The measure is part of broader efforts to reform the insurance sector being led by Minister of State at the Department of Finance Seán Fleming. Also known as dual pricing, it involves insurers using algorithms and other data techniques to identify vulnerable customers who are unlikely to shop around at renewal time.
