Woman (80s) dies after being struck by vehicle in Carlow

The incident occurred at 4.30pm on Thursday in a car park at Presentation Place, opposite Carlow Cathedral in Carlow town.Garda Superintendent Anthony Farrell from Carlow Garda Station said the woman “was struck by a vehicle” which resulted in “fatal injuries”.
