Woman (30s) dies following shooting incident in Finglas

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING a fatal shooting incident that occurred in the Finglas area of Dublin this evening.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene at approximately 8.40pm. A woman, aged in her 30s, was seriously injured during the incident and was taken to Mater Misericordiae University Hospital, where she has since passed away.The coroner has been notified and arrangements will now be made for a post-mortem examination to be carried out by the State Pathologist.
