Gary O'Neil cut an exasperated figure in his post-match media commitments after watching his Wolves side lose 2-1 at Sheffield United following a controversial late penalty

An independent panel which looks at decisions made in the Premier League has unanimously agreed Sheffield United should NOT have been awarded an injury-time penalty vs Wolves.

And, according to ESPN, the Premier League's Independent Key Match Incidents Panel reached a verdict of 5-0 in favour of the decision being overturned. Wolves boss Gary O'Neil has cut an increasingly disconsolate figure in recent weeks as big decisions continue to elude them. There were also complaints after Luton Town were awarded a penalty when the ball struck Joao Gomes' hand after deflecting off his lower leg. O'Neil just about managed to maintain his composure in the aftermath of the latest blunder, and was careful to ensure he wouldn't face retrospective action.

"I understand where he is. He is trying to run his own team as well and they are obviously under a lot of pressure at the moment. After the chat I am confident they are trying to shift things in the right direction and to make put things in place to ensure there are fewer errors.
