Civilian eyewitnesses are yet to be interviewed as part of the Garda watchdog’s probe into the fatal shooting of George Nkencho.
Gardai had responded to reports of a man with a knife at a supermarket and post office in Hartstown, West Dublin, last Wednesday. After pursuing Mr Nkencho to his home on Manorfields Drive, Clonee, he allegedly lunged at members of the Armed Support Unit and was shot at least three times.
