They are handing back annual pay increases. Their basic starting-in-office salary hasn’t changed or been handed back. Year-on-year the annual salary increase returned represents a higher % of that salary. It’s laudable, but not to be confused with returning anticipated income

Their wages are way to high he cudve taken a 30% pay cut and still wudnt notice it! Someone seriously needs to set lower pay cheques for these and the money saved from their wages should benefit oaps, carers, people who've worked most of their lives an have to go on disability!

Will not be accepting? They should not be getting an option. Any job, u work to get into a particular role, ur salary is usually then determined by the quality of ur work & the business performance. If it doesn't perform well u dont get any rise or bonus. Same should apply to Gov

Need to look at how Govt functions once Dail is dissolved. Who was responding to COVID19 in late Jan/ Feb? Minister for Older people/Mental Health did not stand - how much attention was paid to portfolio? Reassign portfolio of unelected outgoing Ministers asap post election?
