It's always nice to see Irish artists finding success overseas.Whether it's Paul Mescal's rise to superstardom following the release of Normal People, or Domhnall Gleeson being added to the Star Wars canon, we can be always be proud of Ireland's contributions to the world.Well, Mrs Brown has made her way stateside, and stars in Tyler Perry's A Madea Homecoming, arriving on Netflix at the end of February.
For those unaware, Madea is something of a Mrs Brown-style character herself, featuring in countless films, plays, and even a book across the past 23 years. Tyler Perry debuted the character in I Can Do Bad All By Myself, and she has since become an unstoppable media machine.Brendan O'Carroll, of course, has built something of an empire of his own since the debut of Mrs Brown's Boys 30 years ago.
