Comedy programme This Time with Alan Partridge’s St Patrick’s Day special featured the Alan's Irish doppelganger.Martin, who has only been an Alan impersonator for a week, infuriates Alan by saying he didn't know who the comedy talk show host was until his cousin told him they looked alike.
And in a hilarious turn of events, Martin ends up mercilessly mocking Alan, saying he was welcome on the farm as long as “you roll your sleeves up and get your hands dirty”.But the best part of the episode comes at the end when Martin performance an emotional rendition of classic rebel song “Come Out, Ye Black and Tans” as Alan and the rest of the crew looks uneasy.
