has recently opened up about her fear of death while talking to Ryan Turidy on his podcast, The Bookshelf
The Irish star told Ryan about her fear as well as living life to the full and going to a therapist through the prism of three books: her favourite childhood book, the book that made her cry, and the book that changed her life.“I had to go see a therapist about it. I was like, ‘I can’t stop thinking about death’.“It was every old person I walked past in the street. Still now the odd time when I see an old person I’m like ‘oh, Jaysus’. I know it’s insane.
“It just kind of came from nowhere. I had never really thought about it. And I needed to figure out what to do so I started to read books to confront death.”The presenter then introduced Ryan to the book that changed her life, Many Lives, Many Masters written by psychiatrist Dr Brian Weiss who investigates past lives which helped her overcome her worries.
“It gave me a level of comfort that there was something else. I actually believe again in life after death and one part of it was souls reconnecting in another life. “I was worried about my kids but you stay in the same circles – so I’m going to see you in the next life Ryan!” she laughed
